Keller is actively searching for an experienced Hydraulic Drill Operators in the Edmonton/Calgary area with 2-3 years of experience operating a variety of Kelly or CFA drills used in the construction industry.  Applicant must have documented experience operating drills similar to Soilmec, Bauer, Liebherr type drills. Applicant should have experience utilizing these drills for large diameter applications.

• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner – Safety is Paramount!
• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment to manufacturers specifications
• Perform minor repairs on equipment if necessary
• Perform daily maintenance and complete logbooks
• Knowledge and/or experience drilling in a variety of ground conditions
• Knowledge and/or experience in the use of segmental casing or conventional liners and/or CFA
• Rigging, hoisting, and spotting for equipment movement according to written, verbal, and/or signaled instructions
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently with the analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems
• Ability to work closely with Supervisor and ground personnel, team player
• Complete all job-related duties as instructed by supervisor
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Participate in the Keller Safety Program including safety meetings, briefs and promoting our safety culture
• Ability to perform and pass a Pre Access and Post Incident Test
• Tending and operating various types of equipment may be required
• May be expected to perform basic labor tasks that may require physical

• Hands-on experience as Drill Operator in the construction industry
• Self-motivated and willing to travel
• Ability to work in a team environment with interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks; to include frequent bending, kneeling and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Ability to work in congested areas
• Capable of climbing and keeping balance on uneven areas
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and access to a vehicle
• The following certificates are an asset: CSTS 2020, GD#2, OSSA, BSO, Fall Pro, First Aid
• The following tickets are an asset: Drill Rig, Loader, Skidsteer, Excavator

Compensation

$38.83 - $52.63 per hour as per Operator Union Rates
